Job Description

Responsibilities:

To make sure that all plant equipment is properly maintained to deliver smooth production without interruptions and to propose and execute capex related projects for cost savings and sustainability
To ensure that the Company is in compliance with the practices of Health, Safety and Environment policies including any legal and legislative requirements
Develop and ensure implementation of all maintenance and other Company SOPs and processes across the function.
Maintain all plant machinery in good condition to ensure smooth operations by achieving zero downtime of critical machines.
Timely identification of sustenance & new capex / investment needs.
Capex and project management to ensure achievement of capex objectives.
Effective root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop counter measures to avoid recurrence.
Develop and implement cost saving initiatives in Engineering department through continuous Kaizen.
Undertake continuous learning for self and team to achieve operational excellence within the function.
Manage monthly repair and maintenance as per Business Plan targets.
Develop & execute plans for ongoing HSE trainings and drill.
Develop and implement inspection and testing regime of fire detection & firefighting system.
Ensure all employees adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
Monitor the effective implementation of HSE procedures and provide inputs for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
Effective root cause analysis of safety incidents to develop counter measures for avoiding recurrence.
Strict compliance to company policies and SOPs as well legal and regulatory compliance.
Robust document control & record keeping and lead all preparation activities related to ISO audits.
Any additional task assigned by the HOD.

Experience: 5 Years Plus

Salary: 100k-180K
