Job Purpose:

This position’s main purpose is to handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The architect’s responsibilities include but are not limited to managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents, and managing project teams. This position takes full ownership of the project, be it the design and construction of a new home, an extension, alterations or a restoration project, and delivers on the client’s requirements whilst at the same time ensuring adherence to Management guidelines for a creative and sustainable outcome.


8 to 10 years of Experience required.

Bachelors in architecture / Masters preferred (knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, plus technical drawing skills)

Key Result Areas

Meet with clients and determining their needs and requirements. Manage design projects from concept development through to completion. Visualize space in three dimensions and have a good understanding of the latest construction technologies for preparing creative home designs. Develop and present project proposals to Project Supervisor for CEO approval. Adjust architectural designs and plans to meet the client’s specific needs. Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Conduct research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact. Comply with safety standards and local planning regulations. Determine and adhere to budgets and timelines as agreed with Management. Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
