Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.

Develop and execute effective sales plans and campaigns.

Monitor and adjust strategies based on market conditions and feedback.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, contractors, and distributors.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
  • Address customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential projects and clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Manage pricing, contracts, and negotiations with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to communicate customer feedback and market demands.

Performance Metrics:

  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Report on sales performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.
